He liked the nickname SHAMROCC

Brandon Lee Hardesty was born on May 18,1977 to Eliza Kyte and Jerry Lee Hardesty at memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. He was a sweet and happy baby. He was born with pneumonia and had to be in the hospital for over a week. As a child he played T-Ball, soccer, basket ball, and was in a play called Camelot. As a teen he played baseball and won a metal, he took karate and played football. He was always a jokester and is well remembered for his great sense of humor. I (his mom) called him "Comedy Relief". Unfortunately he turned to alcohol and drugs at a very young age. He was in and out of rehabs and jails for years. Brandon was a deeply sensitive young man that loved his family with a strength that is still felt today. Brandon wasted many years but toward the end of his life, he was attending college and had been baptized. Unfortunately he had started taking a drug ( methadone) which he knew nothing about. I called my daughter Devin to have her check on him as I could not reach him by phone and he had not shown up for work. She found him, on Valentines Day, in his apartment, lounging is his familiar way, in front of the TV, with his laptop beside him, only he was not with us anymore. My son had many good qualities but they weren't always visible through his drugged out haze. He would always come running if his family needed him. He loved two women deeply. Mickey, the mother of his son, and Danielle, the woman he later married. We all miss him every day. In my very soul I can feel his connection to me still. I am surrounded by his essence in every waking moment. I love him still with everything in me. His sister Devin-Rose - sister Jaynie-Raye- brother Nathan- Brother Michael, deeply love and miss him too. His dad Bill, is saddened to lose a son and a work partner. WE MISS YOU BRANDON!
